|Impacts of Climate Change on the Extent and Magnitude of Flooding and Water Resources in Selected Watersheds|
“Impacts of Climate Change on the Extent and Magnitude of Flooding and Water Resources in Selected Watersheds” is a an ongoing research of the Ecosystems Research and Development Bureau (ERDB) of the DENR from April 2010 to April 2013.
This project aims to provide information on impacts of climate change to the magnitude and extent of flooding and water resources of selected watersheds under varying climatic types.
The expected outputs of the project are : 1) Data on extent and magnitude of floods; 2) Recent GIS-generated land use map of watersheds with occurrence of flooding; 3) Analysis of factors causing / aggravating the flooding; 4) Adaptation/mitigating measures to cope with the impacts of climate change; and 5) Gender roles/activities/attributes in relation to impacts of climate change.
